Memory of Heart
The suite "Memory of the Heart" was written after a visit of its author Nigel Hitchcock in Kazakhstan. It is dedicated to a talented financier and just a good man Erzhan Nureldaimovich Tatishev. Nigel’s acquaintance with Yerzhan Nureldaimovich’s family did not leave him indifferent to what the loss felt Yerzhan’s family and country as a whole, when such a brilliant man passed away.
Talking about Erzhan Tatishev it is used to say of him as one of the most talented economists of Kazakhstan. Professional career of recent Chairman of the Board of JSC "BTA Bank" is an example of how a man "made himself". He came from the people and achieved high professional results on his own. And, despite his position, Yerzhan did not lose kindness, decency and respect for people that were learned from his parents.
Yerzhan Tatishev loved life and his family. He valued native land, customs and traditions of native people. E. Tatishev’s mother, Ultay Apai, recalls “during the Hadj, at night in the mosque, I thought that my Yerzhan was born on April 22 which is separated the prophet only by one day. And my son had special turn of mind. After reading several books about the prophet, I saw some resemblances of characters: self-restraint in all situations, an explanation of essence of things, the depth of mind, generosity and kindness towards people - all of these reminds Yerzhan. Not many young people today possess truly genuine human qualities - honesty, integrity and nobility”.
Yerzhan was like that. Purposeful, strong, determined, honest, unique and unusual. And besides - a philosopher and a romantic …
Definitely, the pain of those who knew Yerzhan never abates, but they are proud that Yerzhan lives in each of them, because his businesses and ideas grow and develop. They are proud that their son, brother, friend, father, leader has done so much good for his country. Therefore, Yerzhan always with us, in our hearts.
