The real start in life

Talented school graduates from underprivileged families, graduates of children orphanages, as well as young people with disabilities have got a unique opportunity to study in the leading Kazakhstani universities. They became recipients of Yerzhan Tatishev Foundation education grants.

170 people took part in the competition this year. 21 students, who could only dream about studying in universities, will have their dream come true. They will now have access to study in KIMEP, UIB, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, KazNTU named after K.Satpayev and Kazakh University of Economy named after T.Ryskulov. The Foundation will cover all the expenses related to their studies during four years.

The program of educational grants was announced on January 22, 2007. Within the program during more than two years about 49 people got their real start in life. As a part of the program, the Foundation identifies and supports young people with disabilities, graduates of children orphanages and children from underprivileged families.

Certainly, such assistance has a great value. Supporting those who cannot afford paying tuition fees and, therefore, lose their chance to start a confident and prosperous life, the Foundation gives people the most important thing – hope.
