Speaker – Professor Charles Goodhart, London School of Economics, CBE, Fellow of the British Academy. Over 17 years he was Advisor to Chairman of the Bank of England on Monetary Policy and Financial Stability. In 1980 he was a member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee. Also he was a Norman Sosnow Professor of Banking and Finance in 1985-2002, now Emeritus Professor, and Member, Financial Markets Group, since 1987 in London School of Economics.

Professor Charles Goodhart – Author of the graduate monetary textbook: “Money, Information and Uncertainty” (2nd Edition 1989); and has published two collections of papers on monetary policy: “Monetary Theory and Practice” (1984) and “The Central Bank and The Financial System” (1995)

Lectures will be held at Big Lecture Hall of Kazakhstan Britain Technical University
