Final touches to the selection rounds for the educational programs of Tatishev Foundation in 2008
Summer… For most of us it is time of holidays, time free of work and study. For some, it is the most active time in life, full of emotions and worrying – for those who have just graduated from school and think about their education, carrier, future…
Summer months traditionally are time of the most intensive work for the employees of Tatishev Foundation. Last rounds of selection for all three educational grant programs of the Foundation have passed. These are grants for obtaining bachelor degree in financial and economic specializations at Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research, International School of Economics and Social Sciences and University of International Business. These are specialized educational grants for orphanages striving for getting a degree of bachelor at Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Kazakh National Technical University named after K. Satpayev, Kazakh Economic University named after T. Ryskulov. These are specialized grants for young disabled people, wanting to get secondary professional education.
All three programs have a common mission – granting possibilities to talented, goal-oriented, active young people to get decent education that will contribute to their further development as individuals and professionals. Foundation provides grants to the most decent ones, so candidates had to work hard, do their best. Last round is always emotionally difficult, because those who are invited are strong competitors. To show their potential and win the competition, candidates have to do their utmost.
Finally all the selection rounds have passed. The time of gathering the documents, passing the examinations to enter the university, worrying about the results, is now left behind. Each one of the candidates will be evaluated according to priorities of each program of the Foundation. Future winners have only to wait for final results of the competition, to shout out their triumphant “Hooray!”
