On the May 19, 2010, Yerzhan Tatishev Foundation signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the International Academy of Business. The memorandum suggests further permanent partnership of both parties in the educational and informational field.

According to the Memorandum, the foundation will carry out annual allocation of funds for educational scholarships to students studying on the financial and economic majors (English department)on the basis of baccalaureate programs in the IAB. Practically, this means that each year two entrants from low income families can receive scholarships for study in the IAB as a Yerzhan Tatishev Foundation scholar. The scholarship includes payment of tuition fees for the entire period of study, accommodation and travel to the home (once a year) if the student is nonresident of Almaty, and a monthly stipend.

The idea of cooperation between the two organizations came less than a month ago, when President-Rector of the IAB Asylbek Kozhakhmetov and President of Yerzhan Tatishev Foundation Marat Aytmagambetov first discussed such a possibility. Recently, Board of Trustees of the foundation decided to start a partnership with IAB. Signing of the Memorandum was been made possible on the basis of common desire for interaction and cooperation on the implementation and development international educational programs in economics and finance in Kazakhstan, as well as the training of qualified specialists in these fields.

According to the President of the foundation, Marat Aytmagambetov, IAB, according to the estimates by independent international experts, today is the best business university in Kazakhstan. In this regard, Marat Temirgalievich expressed hope that the allocation of two grants is only the beginning of cooperation with the International Academy of Business and this cooperation will only expand in the future.
