While meeting with the scholars of Yerzhan Tatishev Foundation in May 2010, the Trustee of Foundation Yerkin Tatishev talked about the renewal of regular meeting with famous and influential people of Kazakhstan, which would be very useful and interesting for the scholars.

The first such meeting of the Discussion club was organized on October, 26, 2010. The speaker of this meeting was Andrey Syedin, who is famous Almaty blogger. It is very pleasant for us that when inviting Mr. Syedin for this meeting, he spoke of the Foundation very positively and agreed to participate in the meeting at once.

Actually, Andrey Syedin is a young successful blogger and journalist, who has private blog syedin.kz and also some internet portals about fashion, events and places, like partyzan.kz; hush-hush.kz and pomidor.kz. Andrey has been working in journalism for a long time, he was an editor in chief of the magazine “Uniqum”, periodically broadcasts his program “Postfactum” on EnergyFM. During the meeting, Andrey talked about his business, reveal the meaning of blogs, shared some information about successful blog and promotion of the sites. Scholars were interested in the discussion about social networks like vkontakte.ru, facebook.com, twitter.com, since they are very popular nowadays and are the effective tool for promotion of any product. Many scholars after the discussion created their profiles on twitter and desired to create their private blogs.

Moreover, Mr. Syedin gave many advices on how to organize and promote the charity event “Dandies in Tot Samiy Bar”, that were very helpful while organizing it.

Finally, we would like to thank Mr. Syedin for his interest towards the Discussion Club of Yerzhan Tatishev Foundation and for his very useful advises.
